Ron Nagle at Stuart Shave/Modern Art
Best known for his vibrant but intimate ceramic sculptural work and part in the California Clay Movement of the 1960s, Ron Nagle’s first solo exhibition on British soil opened at Modern Art last week. We were thrilled to to frame ten of his drawings for the exhibition. Executed on fine vellum and thin lined note paper in graphite and 18ct gold leaf pen, we created frames in thin splined maple frames with and mounted them with Japanese hinges in super thick conservation mounts.
