FRAME London at Frieze
It’s that time of year again - Frieze Art Fair is back and ready to take over your week! Featuring more than 160 of the world's leading galleries, plus a fascinating line-up of talks and events, it’s a must-see for anyone interested in the art world right now.
Here’s a round-up of what we’ve framed at Frieze this year.
Exhibitions
From Black and White to Living Color: The Collected Motion Pictures and Accompanying Documents of Kara E. Walker, Artist.
Spreuth Magers | October 4th — December 21st 2019
Alongside Kara Walker’s video works, we’re proud to have framed an array of artefacts that shed light on Walker’s filming process, including shot lists, handwritten notes, cut-and-pasted lines of text, sketches and puppets. Find out more about the exhibition on the Sprueth Magers website.
Opening concurrently to this exhibition, Kara Walker’s Hyundai Commission for Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall open until April 5th 2020.
Affinities - Jasmine Thomas-Girvan & Chris Ofili
David Zwirner | August 30th — September 21st 2019
A two-person exhibition of work by Trinidad-based artists Jasmine Thomas-Girvan and Chris Ofili, showcasing the rich artistic conversations that have been happening between them for the nearly two decades they’ve known each other.
For this show we created the frames for Jasmine Thomas-Girvan, whose work “tells beautiful and mysterious tales that are a combination of fragility and dread with a knowing nod towards alchemy and witchcraft of the past, present, and future.” Chris Ofili.

Lisa Brice
Stephen Friedman Gallery | 27th September – 9th November 2019
This new exhibition will mark the second show at the gallery for the London-based artist and follows her highly acclaimed solo exhibition in 2018 at Tate Britain.
We framed 30 of Lisa’s small oil on trace works in natural maple in our thinnest gallery range profile. Float mounted with cream mount board, matching fillets, anti-reflective glass. We also framed a series of large canvases and works on board. Read more about the exhibition here.
Claire Tabouret
Almine Rech | 2nd October - 16th November 2019
A brilliant new body of work by Claire Tabouret for her second solo show at Almine Rech. For the upcoming exhibition, the artist has returned to portraiture - depicting her relatives and friends’ figures, the canvases are tainted with personal experience, unfurling a universe of stories and memories. Find out more here.
