Ron Nagle, Amended Testimony @ Modern Art gallery

  Best known for his vibrant but intimate ceramic sculptural work and part in the California Clay Movement of the 1960s, Ron Nagle’s first solo exhibition on British soil opened at Modern Art last week. We were thrilled to to frame ten of his drawings for the exhibition. Executed on fine vellum and thin lined note paper in graphite and 18ct gold leaf pen, we created frames in thin splined maple frames with and mounted them with Japanese hinges in super thick conservation mounts.   Ron Nagle Amended Testimony Modern Art, 2 June – 8 July

Chris Succo at Almine Rech Gallery gallery

We chose our simple 001 profile in maple with a clear wax for the minimalist palette of German artist, Chris Succo. The five drawings are part of his second solo exhibition at Almine Rech gallery in Savile Row, Skin N’Bones, which comprises of recent paintings and drawings based on the artist’s diaristic sketching practise.
